2018 New York Chefs Celebrate Japan Benefit
Our most successful benefit to date, New York Chefs Celebrate Japan, was
held at Meredith’s exclusive 4th floor lounge on October 10, 2018. We were
pleased to recognize two outstanding chefs for their contributions to
promoting an understanding of culture and cuisine between Japan and the
United States: Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern in New York City and
Shin Takagi of the renowned Zeniya in Kanazawa, Japan. It was an honor to
have Ambassador Yasuhisa Kawamura of Japan’s Mission to the United
Nations present the chefs with the Washoku Ambassador Award.
