The Gohan Society welcomes our newest Board member, Susan Robbins!
Susan Robbins is the founder and President of ST Robbins, LLC, a boutique company that focuses on food, wine, and education consulting. Susan was most recently President of Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), a national not-for-profit providing for career opportunities in the food industry for at-risk youth. During her tenure with C-CAP, she almost doubled C-CAP’s growth and expanded programs in each of its locations, with a particular focus on job training-to-work, nutrition, and alumni development. Prior to joining C-CAP, Susan was part of the founding management team of CDT, an affordable housing real estate investment trust that has invested over 1.4 billion dollars in community development projects throughout the U.S.
Born in New York City, Susan grew up in a family that savored great food, wine, and traveling. While she began her career in education specializing in students with special needs before moving on to a career in business and law, she has always been involved in the culinary arts and has relished her role as a food industry judge for James Beard Foundation and other organizations.
We are so excited to have Susan on our team!
