New York Chefs Celebrate Japan: A Benefit for The Gohan Society

The Gohan Society is proud to announce our benefit, New York Chefs Celebrate Japan, at the Exclusive Meredith 4th Floor Terrace at Brookfield Place, located at 225 Liberty Street in downtown Manhattan, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.)

The benefit will be a spectacular event featuring the finest chefs in New York City and premium Wagyu beef, sushi, and other delicacies from Japan. We are proud to honor Michelin Star Chefs Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern in New York City and Shin Takagi of the renowned Zeniya in Kanazawa, Japan. Chef Anthony and Chef Takagi have collaborated in the past, and they are both active supporters of The Gohan Society’s U.S.-Japan Culinary Cultural Exchange Chefs Scholarship Program. They embody the spirit of collaboration between the U.S. and Japan.

Ticket prices are $500 for VIP and $350 for General Admission. VIP ticket holders will be treated to an elegant welcome reception at 6:15 p.m., 45 minutes before General Admission ticket holders, and will receive a gift bag that includes exclusive items.
